Parking around Topaz Park is limited and fills up quickly during events, so please give yourself extra time, carpool where you can, and consider transit or cycling. Follow all event signage, volunteer directions, and posted parking rules, and please respect the surrounding residential streets and no-parking zones.

How to reach Topaz Park

Choose the way that works best for you. Topaz Park is central and well connected by road, transit, and bike routes.

By Car

Topaz Park is just off Blanshard Street, one of Victoria's main north-south routes linking downtown to Uptown and the highway. Douglas Street runs parallel to the west and Quadra Street to the east. Coming from downtown, the park is a short drive past Hillside Avenue; if you reach Uptown, you have gone a little too far.

On-site and nearby street parking is limited and fills quickly during events. Please arrive early, follow event signage and volunteer directions, and respect residential parking and marked no-parking zones. Carpooling is a big help.

Victoria is one of Canada's most bike-friendly cities, with a large network of protected lanes and paths. Cycling is a quick, traffic-free way to reach the park. Bring a lock and use the on-site bike parking area.

Accessibility

Accessible parking and drop-off will be available near the festival entrance. Look for signage or ask any volunteer to point you to the closest accessible parking and route onto the grounds.

Carpool & Rideshare

With parking at a premium, carpooling and rideshare are the easiest ways in and out. Coordinate with your group ahead of time, and use the drop-off area for quick pick-ups and goodbyes.
